I absolutely LOVE being a mommy! I remember at one time thinking that being an aunt was the best thing in the entire world and I had reached my pinnacle as a woman. I didn't really believe people when they told me I just needed to wait until I became a mother because it would be the most amazing thing ever. And then it happened. I became pregnant after five years of trying and I gave birth to this perfect little being and I knew...I knew that my heart had reached it pinnacle of love. I tear up daily just looking for him. I haven't been able to get through a single prayer since he was born without crying. My heart is so full. I thank our Heavenly Father everyday for this little spirit in our lives. He is amazing and I am so blessed to be his mommy. Steven really is a quiet, even tempered little boy, unless you don't give him his milk RIGHT NOW, and then he lets ya know. I just say, well, he is an Anderson! We are working very hard on getting his days and nights turned around. One of my favorite things about him is that he will occasionally, all of a sudden, start laughing in his sleep. My thought is that the veil is very thin and he is remembering someone or having a silent conversation with someone on the other side. I love holding him and rocking him and I will do it until the day he tells me he is to big to be rocked. And then I will wait until he is asleep, scoop him up, and rock him anyway.
One of my favorite faces that he makes! He does this all of the time.
He is always so wide eyed and alert! I love this boy!
I LOVE little baby hands!
Daddy and his boy! There isn't anything that brings me more joy than seeing my kind, sweet husband interacting with his son. It makes me tear up. This big, strong man is so gentle and kind, so sweet and loving with his son.
I was looking through pictures on the camera and came across this one. It totally cracked me up, even if it is a little blurry!

I love little baby hands!!!
Congratulations, Brandy!! I'm so excited you have a baby boy to enjoy. Sorry about the c-section. I had one with Ethan and they sure are rough. I'm glad he's here safe and sound, though.
