Halloween

I went back and forth what Bug was going to be for Halloween.  At the last minute we went with a Super Hero, Super Steven.  He absolutely is my super hero!  He has saved me in so many ways.  We went to Boo at the Zoo.  It ws a lot of long lines for candy, so we didn't really stand in line.  We had more fun looking at the animals.  So grateful for him!  We went to the ward's trunk or treat after, but I didn't take my camera! :(

Yes, he is my Super Hero!

Steven loved the lion at the zoo.  The lion was literally just on the other side of the glass.  Steven was mesmorized!

Pumpkin Patch Fun

I love the fall!  It is absolutely my favorite time of year, and Halloween, next to Christmas, is my favorite holiday.  Every weekend I made sure we had something fun planned to celebrate the fall and Halloween.  We looked up pumpkin patches and this one looked really fun....online.  When we went, it was an actual farm with about 100 pumpkins just laying around.  Very, very small but they were sweet.

Steven went right to this pumpking and refused to look at any other pumpkins. He did a great job though!!!

He looks so old and big in this picture.  So proud with his very own pumpkin!

My boys...

I absolutely LOVE my boys!  I love to see them play together, work together, be together.  Of course, we were at the zoo and I snapped some absolutely beautiful pictures of my two most precious blessings.

My absolute favorite!  I love his big blue eyes and his sweet facial expression.

When I grow up I want to be....

A Doctor....

Steven got into Matt's nightstand to find his blood pressure cuff.  My smart, inquisitive little boy pulled that cuff apart and eventually got the stethascope.  He wore it around for a good two weeks.

Dr. Anderson, paging Dr. Anderson.  Get here as soon as you can!

Can you hear me now?

A superhero....
Steven loves to wear this blanket around his neck.  He makes me laugh as he runs around the house!  In his hand, you can see a bag full of M&Ms.  I bought them specifically because he runs to my nighstand and looks for some chocolate.  I know, I know....sugar and a little guy.  But look at that smile!

Mom, I am a super hero.  Can I please have a bit of chocolate??

Super Steven to save the day!

A Culinary Artist....
He loves my hot pads.  He puts them on and walks around, swinging his arms up very high.

He does the sign for "hot" by blowing his lips

 A dog rider....

Our Wally Dog is so patient with our dear Steven.  How grateful I am for the two of them and their very special friendship together!

Belleview Park

Our eyes were opened to this most amazing park through our ward's play group.  It is one of our favorite places to hang out in the summer now (even if it is about a 20 minute drive).  I am so grateful that Denver got it so right when they planned out and built all of the parks.  It makes summers so much more fun!

Belleview Park has a little stream that doesn't get above about 3 feet anywhere.  Steven really loves to walk and play in the water.  This day, we even brought Wally along and he LOVED the water about as  much as Steven.  Steven insisted on holding Wally's leash and we all walked through the stream (well, Daddy was a party pooper and stayed on the shore to take pictures).

Steven and his best buddy Wally in the little stream

Seriously, look at this handsome little boy.  He just sat on this rock and let his feet dangle in the water.

Mommy and her sweet little Water Bug

He just sat down in the water and stayed here splashing for a good 15 minutes

The park also has a little train that you can ride for $1.50 and a petting zoo.  We have never done the petting zoo, but Daddy and Steven rode the train.  Steven loved it and thought it was pretty neat!
