Memory Lane

I have seen this on a number of my friends' blogs! I finally decided to do it. Love ya!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Oh, Miss Brandy! I am glad you have joined the bandwagon! There are so many memories that I have of you that I am having a hard time picking just one.

I just remember being in Young Women with you and having a blast! You were my bud and I love ya! I remember at girls camp, you said you wanted liposuction and I asked if I could put it in my small chest! Sorry to those of you who may be offended but that is a funny memory that I have!

As you said I haven't actually met you but I remember Chris telling me the story of when he went to Temple Square with his friends and he kept calling you Brindi and that you said something to the effect that you'd better marry her!

Brandy,
I remember you at ISU musc camp... before our days in Rexburg together. I remember you were friends with everyone and you had such a fun personality. You were one of the people that made those camp days fun. I have always loved you happy personality and love for everyone you see.

My first memory of you is that when you were baptized, were you 10? You were taller than me. That isn't really hard to do though. I remember being so impressed with the little girl who came to church all by herself. Amazing testimony builder.

Oh my goodness-BAND COUNCIL!!! All of it, before we were officers, when you were the president and called me to be the secretary, I loved, loved, LOVED planning band tour 2002, the roadside cleanup and the snow bowl. And then, the most poignant moment of my life, when I came to stay with you when you lived with your aunt in Pocatello Aug of 2002 so I could attend Pat George's Flute Spa and invited me to hang with all your friends where you set me up first with Brad Shaw, and through the two of you met Cory. Brandy, I totally owe you for that!

Wow, how can I pick just one memory? Well, certainly the most scary moment was when we were pulled into Mr. Ross' office for taking a ride in your car in the empty parking lot. I remember sitting there frozen while you turned into drum major Brandy and answered each question with such authority. I remember being so scared about not being able to go to my first prom - but, you were terrific! We have many, many high school memories. I remember our little notebook that we kept in our locker, love beads, 'reach out and touch someone', the clever way that you made your peach dress more modest! :-) But, most of all, I remember how you have always been there for me. I met you when I was 12 as a brand new Beehive. You would write me the sweetest notes - you offered to come protect me in elementary school because of some bullies. More recently I remember helping you put on your wedding dress and watching you and Matt be sealed for all eternity, I remember how you and I went through tons of bridal magazines to help me plan my wedding when you would come stay at my apartment in Logan, I remember our embarrassing shopping trip when I came to Colorado, I remember $.99 chicken sandwiches!
I am glad that we have stayed so close and I can still tell all of my secrets to you! Thank you for your friendship! You have now been my best friend for half of my time on earth - that's no coincidence! Love Ya!

You know, I remember seminary, too! :) I also remember watching you in the band and loving your confidence and bubbly personality! You were everything that I wanted to be in that regard! Such a sweetheart.

Little angel... I have so many fond and precious memories of you and the strength that you gave me during some of the hardest times of my life! I still have the sweet notes of encouragement and support that you would write to me with stickers posted all over them... I cherish them and go back to them when I need some motivation to do better! One of my favorites was written on Jan. 14th, 1999. You probably don't remember it but at the bottom you wrote, "Remember, you are not fighting alone!" I have and always will remember that! Thank you for your amazing example and support! I love you and you have forever influenced my life for the better!

I LOVED being in band back in 2002 (wow, was it that long ago???) and I just remember how much I loved being around you because you were always so HAPPY!!! You made everyone else around you happy. I've neer forgotten that. Good times. I'm SOOO glad we've gotten back in touch! I was always sad that we lost touch for a while :(

Memories! We were just talking about them today. The best thing about you that I've always cherished is your ability to walk into a room and brighten everyone elses day. Back in junior high is was nigh unto implossible for people to be around you and to not be lifted up. The real miracle about that is that most of those times you were needing the lifting yourself but you didn't let anyone know that. Your strength and love and sheer brightness is what I'm sure many remember and love about you.

You know, I was putting this off so I could go back in my scrapbook and look at photos of us, to jog my memory of a really good, well...memory. But, I've procrastinated too much, so I am gonna wing it!! Being a roomie of yours was awesome. That was the best year- You, Kristen & I. Plus Band. You ALWAYS mad me laugh so hard! You are so fun to be around, just thinking of all the fun times together makes me miss you! I remember opening Christmas presents and we couldn't stop laughing- I can't remember at what, but it was hilarious. I miss you!!! Thank you for the great memories.

Brandy,

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you message which you left on my blog. My date was really fun and he was a cool guy. I was expecting fireworks to continue to burst, but they've drizzled down. I don't know what he thinks, but it was enjoyable. I'll do better on the details when I get a second date. Hey, thanks for wondering Brandy.

Love you,

Mary

I remember your laugh and your happiness. It was contagious. I can't think of any specifics but I can tell you a little secret. Remember how you all had to move into our apartment before everything was done at school? Well, Rachel Spencer and I were there one extra night and we put on your clothes (Becca's too) and took silly pictures, I have them somewhere! Haha! Love you, I am glad I found your blog!
