My family was visiting about three ago and we stopped by Barnes and Noble. I was able to purchase Stephanie Myer's new book "The Host" and I can't put it down. I am nearly done! Really good reading, but I think I am still in love with Edward! I also pre-purchased "Breaking Dawn," book 4 in the Twilight series. I am going to the Breaking Dawn release party on August 2 at 12:01 am! I am sooo excited!!
Two weekends ago I bought a kit to give Doogie a haircut. He is very skiddish when I take him to get him groomed, so I thought I would be saving him some heartache if I just did it myself. Well, I really didn't know much about what I was doing and I didn't understand the blade length. Before I knew it, our little pup was nearly bald. Everyone says he looks really good, and I have to keep telling him how handsome he is so he doesn't get nervous, but he is really short. I guess he just has a summer haircut.
I guess that is really everything in our lives. We are trying to make plans to go camping and spend some quality time together. Sending our love out to everyone!

I didn't know that you were addicted to these books, too. :) I'm actually rereading them right now, and still can't figure out what it is that makes them sooo addictive. Kelsey and I call them the "crack cocaine" of the literary world. Highly addictive! But a really good time. :)
Congratulations on the weight loss! At least one of us is losing weight! :) I am going to start Twilight after my mom reads it...
I love the story about Doogie! At least you screwed up a haircut on your dog and not your son! Sadly to say, Preston's first buzz cut was not meant to be. Josh thought it would remain about an inch long but it ended up being about 2 centimeters long!! Oops!
Hey! Congrats on the weight loss! What kind of things did you do to lose it? And good luck with the fertility thing. We'll pray for you. Also - I tried infant massage with Kirk, but not Sara. Maybe it's something I ought to look into. :) You should e-mail me your number and I'll call you! lisat563@yahoo.com
WOW Brandy!!! 50 pounds! That's amazing! Please share your weight loss secrets!! Also--the Host..I LOVED it!! As much as I loved the Twilight series, I must say, I kind of preferred The Host--I think because it wasn't soooo mushy gushy. Anyway, hope you enjoy it too! Love ya!
Wow! Way to go losing 50 lbs. Brandy!! That's awesome. I'm glad to hear you liked the Host and I can't wait for Breaking Dawn too!
Seriously, I know everyone has sais it but 50 pounds is AWESOME! Really you need to tell your secrets! I really need to lose the weight from my two kids that I constantly carry around (like my excuse?)! I love the books too. Everyone had been trying to get me to read them and I thought they were insane...a series about Vampires written by a LDS author? But my friend that I visiting teach lent them to me and I think I finished all three in four days. Chris got very mad at me. BTW the program I used is called Microsoft PictureIt, something Chris' parents had but you can use a lot of others like Adobe Photoshop! I just find free kits online and have fun. Good luck with trying the fertility treatments! As always you're in our prayers.
Congrats to you. I am so proud of you. It is not easy.
You're amazing! I'm so proud of you. I'm really trying to lose a lot of weight right now. If you ever need a long distance weight loss buddy for some encouragement I'm here.
You can totally make your second goal of another 50lb by September!! I have ultimate faith in you. I have read all the Twilight books and I have to say I really still have no idea how I feel about them. And all I could stomach of "The Host" was the preview on Stephenie's website. I just don't do aliens well at all. Psychotic Volturi vampires, no problem, but a chapter excerpt out of The Host and I'm nearly having night mares. Go figure.....
Congratulations! You looked GREAT when I saw you yesterday. I miss you too!! You seriously have a heart of gold!
